After the hunt of a lifetime you that you have planned for years, to go to this one
special location to bag your trophy. You find a guide that has the knowledge,
and is able to help you in locating the trophy you are looking for. Your guide is
very helpful in the preparation of the skin so you can get it to your
taxidermist.
Your taxidermist is not just the first one you found on the
internet or the cheapest guy in your area, after much research and many visits
to different shops you have found the
taxidermy studio that you know you will use for your trophies.
Lovingly you hang your trophies on your wall and years pass
and you have a very nice collection. Your taxidermy mounts are hanging on your
wall and you notice that they are just not looking as fresh as the day you
introduced them to your home. Then you notice some saw dust like dirt around
some horns, and antlers on your mounts and some around the feet of your most
precious life size mounts.
Remembering how your friend told you about Trophy DOC you
give a call for help.
This is where Trophy DOC comes in, your mounts are made up
of proteins that bugs, including moths and beetles find very inviting and
tasty. We have a five step process to refresh and clean your mounts. This
process also bug proofs your mounts making them taste bad for the bugs.
Our five step process includes;
·
Remove the dust and dirt from mounts
·
Spray with cleaner and bug proofer
·
Polish the eyes
·
Gloss the nose
·
Oil the horns and antlers bringing out the
natural colors (Sheep and Goats are not oiled as this will make them dark and
unnatural looking).
We travel
the lower 48 states to serve our customers, we can be there in a couple days
for an extra price or if it is not an emergency you can schedule us to come
when we are in the area. Right now we cover the country twice a year.
